Two epic superhero blockbusters are playing back-to-back on television tonight. It starts with Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2. This is followed by Avengers 2: Age of Ultron. ProSieben unites with this two of the biggest MCU sequels in a Marvel marathon that stays with us almost until 2 a.m.

The second part of the James Gunn-directed Guardians of the Galaxy trilogy is a wild sci-fi adventure that features a few of the most beautiful space panoramas in the MCU. This time it gets very personal, because Star-Lord (Chris Pratt) meets none other than his missing father in the endless expanses.

The father-son story has some unexpected twists and turns and provides Gunn with plenty of assists to help him striking humor to live out, be it through absurdly funny situational comedy or completely exaggerated action scenes. Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 is an extremely entertaining MCU pleasure.
Marvel Marathon Movie #2: Avengers 2: Age of Ultron
Things get much darker in Avengers 2: Age of Ultron. At the second class reunion Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.), Captain America (Chris Evans), Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson), Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner), Hulk (Mark Ruffalo) and thunder god Thor (Chris Hemsworth) even tear entire cities out of the earth .

The film’s big villain is a creation from Stark Industries. The artificial intelligence Ultron develops its own consciousness and turns against its creator. Luckily, the team gets reinforcements in the form of twins Wanda (Elizabeth Olsen) and Pietro Maximoff (Aaron Taylor-Johnson).
When does the Marvel marathon on TV start?
The Marvel marathon begins on October 27, 2024 at 8:15 p.m. on ProSieben. Primetime features the adventures of Star-Lord and Co. The Avengers take over from 11 p.m. Hopefully at 1:50 Ultron will be defeated. And if not, you can check again on Disney+. Both films are streaming there as a subscription.
