An 11-year-old girl woke up to the sound of gunshots.
Outside the bedroom, her little brother and father lay bloody on the floor – then she too was shot by her 15-year-old brother.
By playing dead, she finally managed to escape to her neighbor, reports CNN.

Shot in the neck and played dead
The girl states that she and her seven-year-old sister woke up to the sound of gunshots. As the sister walked out of their shared bedroom, another shot was heard.
The eleven-year-old girl saw her sister fall to the floor – where her nine-year-old brother and her father were already lying.
Her mother and other brother had also been shot and now she too was shot in the hand and neck. To survive, she played dead when her brother approached her in bed. When he left the room, she fled through the window to the neighbor and alerted the police.
Accused younger brother: Caught with porn
But she wasn’t the first to raise the alarm. Seven minutes earlier, the 15-year-old brother called the police himself and told them that his 13-year-old brother shot the family to death and then committed suicide.
According to court documents obtained by CNN, he is said to have said that the 13-year-old had been caught watching porn the night before and would therefore end up in trouble.
But according to the sister, her older brother used the father’s weapon. According to her, the brother had problems at school and was also the only one who knew the code to the cabinet where the weapon was kept.

If convicted in an adult court, the 15-year-old could be sentenced to between 25 years and life in prison with a statutory presumption of release after 25 years.
