A suspect named Cemal B. allegedly harassed 2 women in a shopping mall in Bakırköy. The suspect took an upskirt photo of one of the women he was following and groped the other. Cemal B., who escaped from the scene, was caught by police teams. While the events were recorded on the store’s security camera, it was learned that the suspect was arrested.

The incident took place in a clothing store in a shopping center on the evening of Sunday, August 18. Allegedly, the suspect followed 2 women walking around the shopping mall for a while. The suspect then followed the women into a clothing store. While one of the women was bending over and examining the products, the suspect approached from behind and took a photo of the woman’s upskirt with his mobile phone. After the incident, the person immediately put his mobile phone in his pocket and pretended to be interested in the products. The women noticed that the person walking around them was taking their photos and reported the situation to the police teams.
HE ALSO HARASSED ANOTHER WOMAN AT THE SAME HOURS
It was learned that the suspect followed other women in the same shopping mall recently and harassed a woman named Nihan K. while she was shopping. Although Nihan K. and the people in the store ran after the escaping suspect, they could not catch up.
CAUGHT IN SULTANGAZI
The suspect quickly fled the scene and left the shopping mall. Thereupon, the situation was reported to the police teams. Police teams came to the scene upon repeated reports and examined the store’s security cameras. The teams saw the suspect following and harassing women. As a result of the investigation, it was determined that the suspect was Cemal B.
As a result of their research, police teams detained Cemal B., who they determined was in Sultangazi. Cemal B., whose police procedures were completed, was arrested by the court and sent to prison.
