The B20 is the G20 dialogue forum and annually brings together the most important associations representing businesses, industries and services from the G20 economies (i.e. G7 plus BRICS plus Saudi Arabia, Australia, Argentina, South Korea, Indonesia, Mexico, Turkey and the European Union).
The purpose of the event was to present recommendations finals and the political actions of B20 Integrity & Compliance (I&C) Task Forcewhile supporting continuity with the next B20 presidency in South Africa. The discussions touched three key points: encourage the implementation of integrity and anti-corruption measures to promote responsible and sustainable corporate governance; strengthen the integrity and resilience of supply chains; promote a ethical leadership to foster inclusive growth and ensure the responsible use of Artificial Intelligence (AI).
AlloccaChair of the OECD Business Anti-Corruption Committee, and Co-Chair of the B20 Brazil Integrity and Compliance Task Force, said: “Zero corruption is not just an ambitious goal, but a moral duty. If we don’t act now, we deprive future generations of essential resources for health, education and well-being. Technology, especially AIis a fundamental tool that can revolutionize the fight against corruption, but we must ensure it is used ethically and transparently“.
Motorways for Italy was cited as example of excellence in the use of AI for real-time monitoring of transactions, improving transparency and ensuring integrity in business operations.
The event highlighted the importance of global cooperation between governments, businesses and civil society to create a fair and resilient economic ecosystem, with the shared goal of “zero corruption”.
The Aspi Group was at the forefront in the nineteenth edition of the B20, hosted this year by Brazil under the theme Inclusive Growth for a Sustainable Future (inclusive growth for a sustainable future). The event also aimed to strengthen active support within the global business community, serving as a networking and hosting platform for the Co-Presidents, the G20 and other high-level stakeholders who participated in the process.
