(Finance) – Italian presents the new one Lounge Italo Club in the station Milan Central. The restyling of the Lounge, as has already happened for the one in Rome and as will happen for the others throughout the territory, is part of the broader strategy launched some time ago which places the traveler at the center of every choice.
The event was attended by Top Management of Italo and many VIPs who usually travel by train throughout Italy. Well-known faces from Italian cinema and entertainment such as Massimo Boldi, Ambra Angiolini, Matilde Brandi, Enzo Miccio, Pamela Camassa, Francesca Manzini, Alex Belli, Delia Duran and Giorgia Wurth (just to name a few) toasted at the ribbon cutting for this new space in the station, where travelers can wait for their train and, in the meantime, carry out their work activities or enjoy a moment of rest.
The CEO of Italo also spoke for the occasion, Gianbattista The Rockwho took stock of the company’s future projects: “Italo represents the first intermodal group in Europe. Today we serve all of Italy with our trains and Itabus buses. In the middle of the month we also made our debut abroad, reaching Ljubljana and Zagreb from the main Italian cities thanks to the train-bus interconnection. We continue to invest to enrich this offer which, with the entry of MSC into Italo’s shareholding, has been further enriched thanks to the synergies with SNAV, GNV and MSC. Cruises. We want to offer an extensive and widespread service, connecting large cities, provincial towns, ports and airports to each other in an intuitive way and with just one click. For this reason we are working on a platform that integrates all of these services, while at the same time expanding our network of partners, to offer an increasingly broad and varied catalog of pre- and post-trip services. Investments and implementations which are also based on a notable technological development of our systems, which we are increasingly refining thanks to to the use of Artificial Intelligence”.
A new space in the Central station, therefore, located on the upper floor, all glass to offer the suggestive view of the platforms, passengers will be able to find assistance there and wait for their train in total comfort, using dedicated services such as wi-fi, newspapers and express catering .
