New area is reminiscent of the dwarven city from the Hobbit films

This is what the trailer shows: The new trailer for Monster Hunter Worlds takes players to the “Oilwell Basin” and here to the Everforge.

The area has the vibe of a fiery dwarven city as the furnaces are fired up and everything is burning and working. It reminded me of the images from the “Hobbit Trilogy” when the dwarven city in Mount Erebor comes to life and the dwarves fight against the dragon Smaug.

See these monsters: There are 3 monsters to see. One player on YouTube describes the monsters as:

  • Oil octopus that shoots oil instead of ink
  • A metal fire monkey – to me he looked like a fiery Godzilla
  • And a wyvern – the “Black Flame”
