Steel company SSAB’s July-September operating profit was clearly lower than last year’s level. It fell to 1.25 billion kroner (about 110 million euros) after being 4.4 billion kroner a year ago.
The prices of quarto plates were decreasing in the United States compared to a year ago. The result was also weighed down by weaker demand in Europe than before.
