Last year, under pressure from this same activist, the group Facebook also deleted the official FSR account, accusing the paramilitaries of spreading false information.
This suspension on social networks is a victory, explains the activist. According to him, the paramilitaries rely heavily on these digital platforms to communicate with each other, recruit and disseminate their propaganda. Daily, they publish more than ten messages in Arabic, but also in English.
