Lars van der Haar (seven victories) is not the only big name to have won the Nacht van Woerden. Sven Nijs (2009) and Richard Groenendaal (2002 and 2005) are also on the honors list of the race that was held for the first time in 2000.
In the women’s race, which started for the first time in 2010, Marianne Vos, Lucinda Brand and Fem van Empel, among others, crossed the line as winners.
