As every year, with the Pokemon Spring Events, new Pokemon that can be caught are coming to the game as well as many features.
As of yesterday, the Pokemon Go Spring Events have started. As every year, we will have the chance to catch the Pokemon that will appear for the first time during this event, which will reveal different accessories. During the event, which will continue until April 18, many different innovations will be presented to game lovers.
Pokemon Go Spring Events being added to the game
Perhaps the most important aspect of these events, which will last until 20:00 on Monday, April 18, will be the opportunity to catch Pokemon that will appear for the first time. During this event period, the Legendary Pokemon Tapu Balu, considered the patron god of Ula’ula Island, will be added to the game for the first time. Also, in this process, we will have the chance to catch the Pokémon with costumes added to the game for the first time. Apart from Togetic, who wears a Flower crown, and Togekiss, who wears a Flower crown, Lopunny, who wears a Flower crown, which we can only obtain through evolution, will also be in the game.
Of course, in addition to these, some Shiny Pokemon that we have seen before will also be added to the game again. In nature encounters, we will be able to find Shiny versions of Pokemon such as Bulbasaur, Oddish, Paras, Bellsprout, Tangela, Chikorita, Sunkern, Treecko and Seedot for a limited time. You can also enjoy 2× Hatch Candy, 1/2 Hatch Distance, 2× Lucky Egg Duration during this time and get more Shadow Wismur and Shadow Exeggcute in Team Go Rocket parties.
In the Collector’s Quest, you’ll also get a special medal if you catch both male and female versions of Jigglypuff, Flower Crown Buneary, Flower Crown Eevee, Wismur, Flower Crown Chansey, Flower Crown Pikachu, Bunnelby, and Nidoran over the next six days. Finishing the challenge will also grant you 2,000 XP, 2,000 stardust, and a match where Togetic wears a flower crown.
New Stickers
New stickers featuring event-themed Pokémon will be available. You will be able to obtain event-themed stickers by spinning PokéStops, opening Gifts, and purchasing them from the in-game store. These stickers can be used for the rest of the Season as well.
Various Pokemon will also spawn from Eggs during the event. In the 2km Egg you’ll find the flower crowned Pichu, Igglybuff, Azuril, Munchlax, Happy flower crowned Togepi, the flower crowned Togepi, Exeggcute, Chingling and Riolu.
