The parking facility at Jaarbeursplein was overhauled this year after years of problems with leaks. It is not known whether the cracks found are a result of this, but the bicycle cellar has been struggling with flooding for a long time. It came to light shortly after the opening in 2014. It was unclear for a long time where the leak came from. Research in 2022 showed that water seeped in through the natural stone stairs. In August, cyclists still got their feet wet, just before the repair work was completed.
