Filming for the final season of “Stranger Things” is soon coming to an end, and one of the actors in the series announces a final episode that meets expectations.
The end of Stranger Things is actively preparing behind the scenes. We can hope for a release of the fifth and final season in 2025, on Netflix since filming must be completed by the end of the year, but nothing is official on this subject yet. What is certain is that the actors have already been able to discover the script for the eighth and final episode of the series, and it was even a moment rich in emotions.
This is what actor David Harbour, who plays Hopper, revealed on Variety’s “Happy Sad Confused” podcast: the actors “were crying nonstop” during the reading of the final episode of Stranger Things. “As we were reading the final episode, about halfway through, people started crying. Then, around the last 20 minutes, the sobbing got out of control,” he recalls.
And for David Harbour, such a reaction to reading the finale of Stranger Things is not a coincidence: it would be due to the fact that the young actors, who were between 11 and 14 years old at the start of the first season, grew up with the series and are now adults. “They were children, it was their childhood,” he analyzes.
“Here we are 10 years later, we’re looking at this idea [de la fin de l’enfance] and it’s so well done, and it’s so beautiful… It’s a great episode, it’s a great season. You’ll love it.”
No date yet for season 5
For the moment, we do not yet know what the plot of Stranger Things season 5, even if it will probably resolve the intrigues started in season 4, which ended with Vecna’s flight from Eleven, but the Upside Down nevertheless managed to land in Hawkins.
The final season will undoubtedly deal with this issue. But we will still have to wait to find out, since filming, which began last March, was to last nine months in total. For now, the release date for season 5 of Stranger Things is not known.
