(Finance) – Negative data arrives in September 2024 from the American construction market. According to the US Department of Commerce the new construction sites started they recorded a 0.5% dropattesting to 1.354 million unitsafter the 7.8% growth recorded in September (figure revised from +9.6%).
THE building permits issued by the competent authorities have registered, in the same period, a decrease of 2.9% to 1.428 million of units, after the +4.6% recorded the previous month. The expectations of analysts were in favor of a smaller decline in permits 1,450 million from the previous 1.470 million.
