The Mazan rape triala terrible case in which a woman, Gisèle Pélicot, was the victim of dozens of rapes under chemical subjugation, is in all the discussions on the square in front of the Paris courthouse. He came to remind us of the urgency for victims of violence to be heard and respected in their words. This is where Laurène expects a change:

When we see the comments that the accused dare to make today, we say to ourselves that we are still far from it. We are here today, with feminist associations, and we hope that the strength of Gisèle Pélicot, who requested a public trial, will help change mentalities. »

On Friday, around fifty feminist associations proposed 130 measures to eradicate sexual violence. While waiting for them to take effect, the victims promise to continue to occupy public space every month. The next meeting is set for November 23, 2024.
