A man in his 50s has died after a workplace accident at Borlänge Energi in Kvarnsveden in northern Borlänge. The alarm about the accident came on Friday morning when the man was said to have been pinned under a crane. Ambulance, police and emergency services were called to the scene and the man was taken to hospital.
On Saturday morning, the police announced that the man had died of his injuries.

On the company’s website, it is announced that the accident occurred in connection with a contractor dismantling a lifting crane. It writes The evening paper.
“Borlänge Energi’s crisis team is activated and affected personnel are currently being offered crisis support,” the company writes.
The case is being investigated by prosecutors.
