Cuba was paralyzed on Friday by a national blackout after a major power plant failed.
The work of trying to connect the country’s eleven million inhabitants to the internet was still going on well into the evening, local time, with no forecast as to when the outage might be fixed.
Millions of residents were already affected last Thursday evening, local time, when a large part of the network stopped working. Large and recurring outages are common, but not total.
