No fewer than three shutouts in the SM league round

Kärppien’s Michal Kovarcik avenged KalPa’s golden helmet for Patrick Curry with American tackle Reid Gardiner, another star player of Kärppien.

In the ice hockey SM league round, we saw three exits. Two of these came in the match between KalPa and Kärppie.

Tampere’s first local game of this SM league season started an hour later than the other matches. Tappara leads Ilves 4–0.
