(Finance) – The Board of Directors of Danieli & C. Officine Meccaniche has examined and approved the annual budget of the company and the consolidated financial statements of the Group from 1 July 2023 to 30 June 2024.
The 2023/2024 financial year closes with a net profit of 240.8 million euros, essentially stable (-1%) compared to the previous year, while EBITDA fell by 8% to 391.2 million euros and ABIT by 17% to 220.8 million euros. Revenues mark an increase by 6% to 4,349.8 million euros.
The revenues of Plant Making sector are aligned with the forecasts at the beginning of the year and derive from compliance with the construction programs contractually agreed with customers, with an EBITDA of 315.7 million euros, better than the 2022/2023 period. The revenues for the Steel Making sector they are instead lower than last year (despite being in line with the budget) and present a lower profitability (EBITDA of 75.5 million euros) largely due to the negative effect of the cost of energy which in Italy is more expensive compared to other European countries.
