Italian luxury brand Prada and American startup company Axiom Space presented their new space suit in Milan, Italy on Wednesday.
The suit is to be used on the US space agency Nasa’s Artemis 3 probe. NASA’s manned spaceflight is planned for 2026.
The bulky white suit has red details and gray spots on the knees and elbows. The price of one suit is over 100,000 euros.
The pictures show that the space suit designed by Prada and Axiom resembles the suits worn by the astronauts of NASA’s Apollo 17 mission.
The 1972 Apollo 17 mission is so far the last manned space flight to land on the Moon.
