A 39-year-old woman is under arrest for aggravated rape of another woman. A man is also suspected of the abuse, Sydsvenskan reports.
– He firmly denies the accusations, says the man’s lawyer Rebecca Sofiadotter Lepic to the newspaper.
Both will appear in front of a detention judge on Friday. It is currently unclear how the woman reacts to the criminal suspicion.
The suspected rape occurred in an apartment in Malmö on the night of Wednesday.
The case is unusual because a woman is suspected of rape. According to the Crime Prevention Council, men were suspects in 98 percent of all cases in 2022, Sydsvenskan writes.
