Those responsible for Throne and Liberty have announced server maintenance for October 17, 2024 in order to install patch 1.3. We have the official patch notes for you and will keep you up to date on the server status of the MMORPG.
Update from October 17, 2024 – 1:33 p.m.: There is the official confirmation on Discord: maintenance is over, the servers are live. And lo and behold: we are online. Have fun in Solisium!
Update from October 17, 2024 – 12:33 p.m.: The European worlds have recently been shown as online again on the official Throne and Liberty server status website (via playthroneandliberty.com). We can’t log in via Steam at the moment because Throne and Liberty is still in maintenance mode.
What are the current maintenance plans? According to According to the plan, the MMORPG should be accessible again from 1:30 p.m. However, the maintenance phases had recently lasted significantly shorter than announced.
As part of the maintenance, the developers are rolling out Update 1.3 of Throne and Liberty on all platforms. If you want to check for yourself how the Throne and Liberty servers are doing, you can easily do so. You can find current server status reports either on the official Throne and Liberty X channel or in the server status section of the official Discord channel.

All platforms
Generally
The wait time for character deletion is now set to 24 hours after a character deletion is initiated.
Server transfer cooldowns are now displayed in the server transfer window.
The server transfer cooldown has been increased to 30 days between transfers and the free server transfer tickets promotion has ended.
Gameplay
Dynamic Events: Improved rewards for all dynamic event modes to better reflect players’ efforts during the event.
Guilds: Guild contracts of the “Hunting” type (“Defeat various monsters”) can now only be started once per day. When the completion moves to a new day, a new contract becomes available immediately.
Guilds: When a leader leaves a guild, leader reassignment is now considered in the following order: highest available guild rank, highest available guild contribution, longest membership in the guild.
Quests: The Fabulous Trio of the Crimson Forest: The map displays for the quest area have been corrected.
Arena: Players can no longer return to completed Arena battles.
Crafting: The crafting materials of Rare Blank Lithograph recipes have been adjusted. These no longer differentiate between Epic and Noble Enchanted Ink, but simply use “Enchanted Ink” as the material (renamed Noble Enchanted Ink).
Fishing: The hook animation when fishing has been improved.
Customization: Adjusted some character customization options to keep the eyes securely behind the eyelids.
Tutorial: Fixed a bug where players could be blocked by logging out during the transformation portion of the tutorial.
Dungeons
A new matchmaking option will allow players to join a randomly selected dungeon from all available options and fill groups more easily. Previously, players could only queue for certain dungeons.
The bonus HP and damage buff applied when assembling dungeon parties has been increased from 5% to 10%.
Matchmaking logic has been adjusted to more consistently create groups with similar power histories.
Party members can no longer be kicked out of the party during active boss fights.
Localization
Fixed a tooltip text error for the Crossbow Rapid Fire: “Damage Increase” skill specialization.
Fixed a tooltip error for the passive staff skill Mana Boost that incorrectly swapped HP and Mana values.
Noble Skill Growth Books now correctly display whether they improve active or passive skills.
Corrected a tooltip error for the Wand’s Corrupted Magic Circle: Touch of Decay skill specialization that claims the skill applies to multiple targets, which is not the case.
Applying the latest localization updates, including fixing several untranslated strings.
UI
Guild Contracts: The time until the next contract is now displayed more reliably after guild contracts have been completed.
Amitoi and Transfiguration Menus: Selecting the “Show Favorites Only” option will no longer cut off the bottom part of the interface in some cases.
Group Noticeboard: Various bug fixes related to the behavior of the group noticeboard.
Party Noticeboard: Join requests now display the character’s weapon types and guild information.
Edit Group Display: Various bug fixes related to party/group member management UI behavior.
Arena: Completing weekly missions now displays a notification and the Arena UI displays the time until the next weekly mission update.
The Help button has been moved to the top right corner across multiple UI windows.
Moderation warnings will no longer appear for every login once confirmed.
Some error messages related to the connection have been worded more precisely.
Added a button to check name availability when creating or changing character names.
steering
Adjusted some areas of the Amitoi and Transformation menus that previously could not be navigated using the D-pad.
Fishing is no longer canceled by pressing the B button in fishing mode.
Fixed a case where charged skills could still fire after canceling a long button press.
PC
The ability to upload files for character customization or support requests has been temporarily disabled while we improve the file attachment feature.
Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5 (console only)
New console client settings have been added to control which characters display visual effects (VFX) on screen. Using the new menu under Settings > Gameplay > Character > “Show ability effects of selected targets” you can choose whether you want to show everyone, just the guild, just the group, or just your own effects during battle.
Fixed an issue where players were unable to close the QR code popup.
The quality of some tutorial textures has been improved.
Quest of the Demon: Fixed a bug that prevented quest progression.
PlayStation 5
PlayStation Only Servers: Group search now only creates groups with other players from PlayStation Only servers.
