Four new Kindle models have just been announced by Amazon. The company also took the opportunity to unveil its first Kindle with color.
Building on its position in the digital e-reader market, Amazon announces the upcoming release of four new models in its Kindle range. The announcement, which was surely planned for the next few days, unfortunately leaked on a Spanish site with the details of these four new Kindles, their prices and release dates. New Kindle Colorsoft Signature Edition
The Kindle Colorsoft Signature Edition is therefore the very first digital e-reader in the Kindle range capable of displaying color. It offers high contrast, adaptive brightness depending on your environment and several weeks of battery life. Its biggest novelty obviously comes from the colors which can be added to the illustrations of your digital books, but also to your text highlights.
The Kindle Colorsoft Signature Edition will be available from October 30 in stores and online from 299.99 euros.
New Kindle Scribe
A new version of the Kindle Scribe was also mistakenly revealed by Amazon Spain. This version features white borders and a paper-like texture for easy note-taking. It comes with a premium stylus capable of transcribing the sensations of writing on paper. Amazon also announces that artificial intelligence will be included in the Kindle Scribe to better analyze your notes and produce quick and effective summaries that can be shared later.
The new Kindle Scribe will be available from December 4 on partner sales sites and sold from 429.99 euros.
New Kindle Paperwhite
Another new feature: a faster version of the Kindle Paperwhite. This format, which is the best-selling in the range of Amazon e-readers, will have a new edition with a high contrast ratio, a larger 7-inch screen and a battery life of up to three months. It will also be water resistant (without official certification communicated) and will have 16 or 32 GB of storage space for your digital books. Several colors are also available with black, red and green.
The new Kindle Paperwhite will be available from 169.99 euros. Its release date is listed as “available immediately.”
New Kindle
Finally, the latest new Kindle unveiled is the most compact of the range: the Kindle (quite simply). This is the entry-level model that can fit in a pocket, has great speed for turning pages and a screen with high contrast for displaying text. It will also be available with a new “Matcha green” color, several weeks of battery life and 16 GB of storage space.
The new Kindle is available from 109.99 euros today.
The announcement of these new Kindles is also accompanied by an offer giving access to three months of “Kindle Unlimited” which allows you to benefit from multiple digital books, audios and online comics among numerous series.
