Soccer: Fridolina Rolfö goalscorer when Barcelona crushed Hammarby in the Champions League

Reigning champions Barcelona suffered a heavy defeat in the first group stage match away to Manchester City in the Champions League.

Against Hammarby, the team came out determined and there was no talk of the matter.

Already in the tenth minute, the home team was responsible for a fine attacking game before Caroline Graham Hansen finished by putting the ball in the net. Barcelona went into the break with a 3-0 lead after Alexia Putellas, completely unmarked in the penalty area, was able to head home the third goal.

– You can see in retrospect that it was an incredibly tough match. It feels like there are three or four more players on the pitch sometimes, says Jonna Andersson to SVT Sport after the first half.

Then it flowed further in the second half. In the 58th minute, Claudia Pina scored her second goal of the match, which meant 5–0. Graham Hansen also managed to score her second of the evening and Fridolina Rolfö ended the senseless crush by making it 9-0 on a penalty in the 90th minute of the match.

– We play a great match. The biggest difference is the technical and tactical skill. You are one step ahead and have a high understanding of the game, says Fridolina Rolfö to SVT Sport.

However, City top Group D ahead of Barcelona after two rounds. The English club defeated St. Pölten on the away pitch earlier this evening.
