Designer is responsible for 23 skins in LoL, but Riot fires her and that puts her in a precarious position

A Czech video game character designer has been fired by Riot Games. She was responsible for 23 skins for League of Legends. Her residence permit also depends on her job in LoL, which is why she now has to quickly look for another job.

Who is the designer? This is Tereza “Teya” Rozumkova, who worked for Riot Games as a character designer for over four years. During her time at the publisher, she was responsible for 23 skins in the game League of Legends. She looked after a total of 40 others and dealt with the integration of them.

One of Riot Games’ most popular games is Valorant. In the video the publisher presents the new console version of the game:

Designer is looking for a new job via X

Why does she have to leave the USA? Tereza Rozumkova currently lives in Los Angeles, California, according to her X profile. But she was apparently born in the Czech Republic and was educated there.

Which is why the loss of her job means her residence permit in the USA is now at risk. She will probably only have a work visa and therefore only has 60 days to find something new.

Tereza Rozumkova is now looking for a new job on X and says she wants a job in either Europe or the USA.

  • “I’m sorry Teya, I hope you find something quickly” (Spideraxe on X)
  • Why was the designer fired? The designer herself did not disclose the reason for her dismissal. However, she is not the only one who was fired by Riot Games.

Riot Games says it’s not about saving money, but about making sure they have the right people for the jobs. They want to ensure that League of Legends continues to be “great” for years to come.
