Vicarious Visions the studio behind Tony Hawk no longer

Shadow studio, accustomed to lackluster productions and ports for many publishers, Vicarious Vision has really grown over the past 5 years, especially thanks to games Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy and Tony Hawk Pro Skater 1+2. Owned by Activision since 2005, the studio founded by Karthik and Guha Bala in 1994, no longer exists and it is through a message on its social networks that the American company based in Alabny says goodbye. “We have officially merged with Blizzard Entertainment. Our development team remains in Albany, NY and is fully dedicated to Blizzard games. We invite you to follow @BlizzardEnt.” A reassuring message which means that all of the 200 employees keep their jobs, with the difference that this time, they will be entirely dedicated to games stamped Blizzard. We don’t know which game the studio is going to give a hand on, but it’s not forbidden that Diablo IV is one of Blizzard’s most important projects.
