Death Note will be adapted into a video game, it’s almost official. It is indeed the Taiwan Digital Game Rating Committee who listed the game in its columns under the name Death Note: Killer Within for release on PS5 and PS4, but on a date still unknown. This is not the first time that the name Death Note: Killer Within appears on the internets, since in June 2024, the game appeared on the EUTM product marketing registers, which lists the items that will be marketed in Europe. In any case, this is not a surprise, given that it is Bandai Namco Entertainment which is cited as publisher, and when we know to what extent the adaptations of manga/anime from the 2000s have been going on lately for the nostalgia, it is quite logical to see Death Note return in this format.
