With the first expansion, Vessel of Hatred, Diablo 4 got a new endgame activity. Completing the activity this season will earn you an achievement – but you can’t do it alone.
Vessel of Hatred is the first expansion for Diablo 4 and brought new content to the game. These include the new class, the Spiritborn, a new area, mercenaries and the endgame dungeon “The Dark Citadel.”
With the new content there were also a number of new achievements that you can unlock. This includes completing the new campaign, reaching a torment level and leveling up your mercenaries. Another success revolves around the new dungeon.
What kind of activity is this? The new endgame activity is the dungeon, the “Dark Citadel.” The Citadel is a co-op challenge for four players that is available to you from torment level 1. Most players actually play Diablo 4 solo.
There are three wings in the challenge, each containing different tasks and a boss. If you complete the passage in the citadel, you will receive citadel coins that you can use to buy cosmetic items.
Additionally, you will receive player titles when you complete the co-op dungeon. However, you will only get one of these titles this season.

What kind of success is this? In the “Heroic Deeds” category there is the special achievement “Rise of the First Khazra: Champion 1.” To complete the achievement and thus the player title “Bloodbound; To get the Girl Scout, you have to go through all three wings in the citadel.
This means you have to venture into the co-op dungeon three times and face the puzzles and bosses. But not only that, you have to complete the challenge at the final torment level – by the end of Season 6.
You will also need a group for this, as the activity is designed for four players. Although you can enter it alone, you won’t be able to get any further in certain places because at least two people have to interact with items.
You can also venture into the citadel as a couple, but the difficulty level does not scale. This makes it much more difficult for two of you than for four. If you are looking for a suitable group, the new group finder that came into play with Season 6 will help you.
What other successes are there? Apart from that, you will earn a number of other achievements and player titles in the citadel. And there is no time pressure, because you get the other titles without having to complete the challenges this season.

You will receive a player title if you successfully complete the “Dark Citadel” three times at any torment level. For another achievement in the Heroic Deeds category, you have to kill Treasure Goblins in Diablo 4 for 48 years. Killing such a huge number of goblins is not possible at this point, and players believe that a goblin level is coming into play.
