In Ukraine neurosurgery faces the challenge of treating war wounded

In Ukraine, since the start of the war, tens of thousands of soldiers have been mobilized. And thousands of them were killed or wounded on the battlefield. Although for security reasons it is difficult to obtain exact figures, the estimates are chilling. According to an estimate of Wall Street Journal, dating from last September, there were almost 80,000 deaths and 400,000 injured. Beyond the numbers, those who survive the battlefield with serious injuries begin a long journey of recovery, made difficult by the lack of medical resources to cope with the influx of patients. Near kyiv, in Brovary, a neurosurgery clinic is trying to work miracles with a few patients. A report from our correspondent in Ukraine.

A report to be found in its entirety in the show European accents.
