Armand Duplantis and Desiré Inglander are engaged.
The love couple said yes to each other on a beach in New York.
Now both open up about the big decision and the proposal.
It was 2020 that Armand Duplantis for the first time met Desire Inglander. At a midsummer party, they found each other in the crowd, but it wasn’t entirely obvious that they would be just the two at first.
– She didn’t want anything to do with me, she just wanted to dance, “Mondo” told Vogue magazine.
Duplanti’s Courtship
After a few months, they took a liking to each other and since 2021 they live together in an apartment on Kungsholmen. Now they have taken the next big step in their relationship.

Last Friday, Armand got down on one knee and proposed to Desiré with a newly bought ring. The beautiful gesture of love took place on a beach in The Hamptons, outside New York, and Duplantis managed to completely surprise his girlfriend.
– I was more nervous than at the Olympics. I had prepared some words to say, but I couldn’t get anything out. I froze, says Mondo about the proposal.
Desiré emotional
The young couple have shared private photos on social media, see below, from the proposal on the beach. Where both families and closest friends had been flown in to share the special moment with the newly engaged couple.
“I am the happiest man in the world,” writes Armand Duplantis beautifully on Instagram.
“I didn’t believe in love before I met you,” writes an emotional Desiré Inglander.
