In the same interview, Sofia told what it was that she fell for with the prince.

– A very humble guy. The first thing I felt was that he is a very good person and that he is very down-to-earth, Sofia said, saying that you quickly notice that he is a very kind person.

Princess Sofia is very private and does not often speak to the media. But of course she has other ways of expressing herself – everything doesn’t always have to be about words. To show her love for her sons, Princess Sofia has three beautiful rings, all of which carry a very nice symbolism.

When Sofia and Carl Philip were on a visit to Karlstad in September, Sofia was captured in a picture – and on one finger the colorful rings sparkled, where each stone symbolizes the sons’ respective month of birth.

What is a push gift?

A push gift is a gift for new mothers. It is an American phenomenon and is simply a gift given to the mother after childbirth.

In Hollywood, for example, Kim Kardashian received diamond necklace from Kanye West when their daughter North West was born. When Kylie Jenner gave birth to the daughter Stormi she got a Ferrari as a present, the newspaper has Mom rewritten.

The truth about Princess Sofia’s beautiful rings – that means judgment

Hanna Hellberg is a jewelery expert and can be heard on the Jewelery Podcast. She also runs the Instagram account @hannathemagpie. For Nyheter24, Hanna has previously spoken about her expertise when it comes to jewellery. Hanna has, among other things, liked Chris O’Neill’s love gift for the princess Madeleine and Princess Sofia’s daring ring.

When she sees Princess Sofia’s trio of beautiful rings, Hellberg says:

– I like that she stacks rings, and chooses playful designs, with cabochon cut (unset) stones. The stones are green aventurine, blue topaz and rock crystal, and must have been a push gift from Prince Carl Philip, something that also Swedish Lady have reported on when it went.

Do you think she will buy a fourth Bigli ring for the new baby?

– I think so, Hanna then answers.

The rings come from the Belgian brand BIGLI. It was founded by the designer duo Laurence Aerens and Thierry Spitaels. Princess Sofia has previously been seen in their ring called Elements, but the small rings representing the sons are from a different collection – namely the one called Mini Sweety.

As Princess Sofia and Prince Carl Philip’s fourth child is due in February, the child’s month stone will be amethyst. Should Sofia and Carl Philip not be so fond of the purple stone, the black onyx stone is available as an alternative.

The rings from BIGLI in the model that Sofia wears today cost around 26,500 each, so three rings would cost around 79,500 kroner.

Not bad, but if it tastes good, it costs money!
