Brynässtjärnan back with the team after the tough injury

After the heavy injury announcement for Brynäs player Christian Djoos, the defender is back and training with the team on Monday, before the match against Modo.
– I would have liked to have played today, but you can’t be stupid, says Djoos to Expressen.

After three seasons in the Swiss league, Christian Djoos returned to Brynäs as an expected top defender before the season. But already in August, during a training match against Örebro, he sustained a lower body injury. Brynäs has had to manage without Djoos during the first eight games of the series.

In the warm-up on Monday, the back star was back and training with the team. But there will be no comeback already in the match against Modo.

– I would have liked to have played tonight, and certainly could have, but you can’t be stupid either. Soon, he tells The Express and describes the feeling as good.

– It’s great fun to be back, and to do real exercises, he says.

He is expected to be back by then

It is Christian Djoo’s first real ice training with the team in just under six weeks. The player himself believes match play is about a week away.

– Something like that, perhaps. It is more day by day, than week by week as it was before. The time span has started to narrow. But can push it a little, but not too much, he tells the newspaper.

Brynäs-Modo has drop-off at 19.00.
