HANDBALL Henrik Signell, the new national coach of the Dutch handball women, has left Leusden veteran Laura van der Heijden out of his first selection. The Swede wants to see other players in action in the first round of the Golden League, the friendly tournaments in which the Netherlands competes against Norway, Denmark and Germany. The first round of the Golden League is from October 24 to 27 in Norway. Angela Malestein from Bunschoten, also a veteran, is in the eighteen-person selection. (Monday October 14)
