The campground at Rondeau Provincial Park fills up quickly as hundreds of people annually spend their Thanksgiving weekend camping with family and friends.

A long-time tradition of the weekend is the children dressing up for Halloween and going to trick or treating at the campgrounds on Saturday.

Fortunately, the youngsters had beautiful weather to do their trick or treating before the rain arrived later in the evening.

Three-year-old Brooks Thomas of St. Thomas was celebrating his birthday a day early by trick or treating at Rondeau Provincial Park on Saturday, which is a Thanksgiving tradition at the park’s campground. Brooks was also having fun visiting his grandparents Brenda and Mike Nettleton, who live in Rondeau. PHOTO Ellwood Shreve/Chatham Daily News jpg, CD, apsmc
