(Finance) – Producer prices slow down in September. According to the Department of Labor American (BLS), producer prices recorded no change on a monthly basis, after the +0.2% of the previous month and against the +0.1% estimated by analysts.
On an annual basis, prices recorded an increase of 1.8%, above the +1.8% of the consensus and compared to the +1.9% of the previous month.
THE prices of “core” goods and servicesi.e. the index stripped of the most volatile components such as the food and energy sectors, recorded an increase of 0.2% (+0.3% the previous month and +0.2% expected), while on the year they recorded a +2.8% after the previous +2.6% (+2.7% expected).
