In Throne and Liberty, a lot revolves around who ultimately takes the throne in Rockwatch Castle. However, those who just want to do their own thing are often pushed out by large guilds.
What are the guilds about in Throne and Liberty? As the name of the MMORPG suggests, the top guilds on their servers are in a competition for the throne of Rockwatch Castle. The work of the guilds and their partners culminates in the great siege battle every two weeks.
Anyone who doesn’t play in one of the big guilds will be denied this highlight. But even if you have nothing to do with the big guilds in the game, they are the ones who ensure that the fun for single players decreases rapidly.
You can find out why large guilds are so important in this video:
Guilds have great advantages
What advantages do the guilds have? Players who experience the game in one of the major MMORPG guilds have many advantages. For example, you can kill guild bosses up to 7 times. If you are not in a guild at all, you lose the chance to get 7 times extra loot.
But guilds also have an advantage when it comes to the PvE bosses that appear in the game every few hours. Instead of relying on one member’s chance of looting, guilds often pool the loot together and then distribute it among those who need it. This makes it easier for everyone to get the right equipment.
But with PvP bosses it’s quite extreme. If you’re not in one of the top guilds here, you don’t even need to enter the boss arena. Otherwise you end up with a gray screen and a visit to the next priest after just a few seconds.
The PvP bosses then give the players from the guild even more loot. Even if an item is dropped for a player, the guilds prevent the item from being looted. After 30 seconds everyone can record it. So solo players hardly have a chance.

Be careful that your guild in Throne and Liberty doesn’t take advantage of you and keep your loot
by Karsten Scholz
Is that intentional? Yes, because the content in Throne and Liberty in the endgame revolves heavily around the rival guilds that are competing for the throne. The game hardly offers any systems designed to do them alone.
As a result, some of the fun is lost for players who don’t want to join the guilds. FaithlessnessFull254 writes about this on Reddit:
“Whose idea was it to make the huge public group bosses a PvP zone so that there would be mass chaos all the time and everyone would be grieved. I’m just trying to make the bosses. This is an absolutely terrible idea, get rid of the PvP zones.”
Even when grinding in open-world dungeons, players are repeatedly ambushed by guilds as soon as PvP starts there. However, solo players also have a type of activity where they can show the guilds how good they are.
What kind of activity is this? Various peace mode events take place in the MMORPG approximately every three hours. The aim is usually to kill as many monsters as possible in a short time and to hand over the collected loot within that time.
The better you place, the more rewards and activity points you will receive. Activity points are particularly important for the guilds. The points determine the placement on the ranking list and then the first rule over the throne.
Guilds do not have any advantages at the events and so individual players with good placements can cause trouble at the events.
