Farm reputation in Nahantu to get skill points and Paragon quickly

With Vessel of Hatred, a new area has arrived in Diablo 4 in which you can farm reputation. You can find out how you can quickly get skill and Paragon points here on MeinMMO.

Why do I need reputation? In Diablo 4 there are six regions in which you can discover a lot. By exploring the regions, “collecting” altars and visiting dungeons, you gain reputation or prestige. You need reputation to receive bonuses in the regions, which are divided into five levels per region.

Nahantu is the newest area added with Vessel of Hatred. This gives you the opportunity to earn 2 more skill points and 4 points for your paragon boards. You can use the points to complete your builds. You can find a list of the best builds in the Diablo 4 endgame in the Tier List for Season 6.

What bonuses do I get? There are five bonus levels in each region that you can collect. The bonuses are the same for each region. There are bonuses that you collect every season and bonuses that are permanent once you have completed the region progress once on the realm.

When do I get the points? You get the two skill points at level 1 and 3 of region progression, the 4 Paragon points at level 4 and you must have reached level 60. To collect the skill points you need a total of 550 reputation, for the Paragon points you need another 400 reputation. We’ll explain to you below how you can collect them as quickly as possible.

The Nahantu region progression gives you additional skill and paragon points. You collect the bottom line of bonuses once and then get them permanently.

Play through the campaign and uncover the map

When you start the Vessel of Hatred expansion in Diablo 4 for the first time, a new campaign awaits you. In order to be able to skip them in the coming seasons, you have to play through them once. Either way, you shouldn’t ignore the campaign for long, as it will unlock the new mercenaries, among other things.

In addition, during the main quests you will discover a large part of Nahantu and unlock waypoints. You get 20 reputation per waypoint and 5 per discovered area. That doesn’t sound like much at first, but there are a total of 58 areas – and you can get through them quickly, especially with the mount.

With our interactive map of Vessel of Hatred you won’t miss any important places:

Turn down the difficulty level

The new difficulty level system allows you to unlock up to four levels of torment. The last two in particular can be quite challenging. However, in order to farm reputation in Nahantu, it is advisable to lower the difficulty level. The faster you get through the content, the faster you collect reputation points.

Capture bases

You can secure most reputation points by conquering bases. For every base you take, you get a whopping 100 points – there are three of them in Nahantu. You capture bases by completing various tasks – such as destroying certain objects, killing bosses and finally activating the Wanderer’s Shrine.

Collecting teachings from Akarat

In Nahantu there are no longer any altars of Lilith, but rather the teachings of Akarat. These are altars that are scattered around the map. Each teaching gives you 10 reputation points for your region progress. Unlike the Altars of Lilith, simply activating them is not enough.

The Teachings of Akarat require you to solve small puzzles so you can interact with them, such as lighting three Guardian Stones nearby. You can find out where you can find the teachings of Akarat in Nahantu and how to solve the puzzles in our guide:

Side quests

The side quests each earn you 30 reputation points, and in Nahantu there are a total of 35 quests that you can complete on the side. This is particularly useful if you are currently exploring the area and want to do a few small tasks.

The side quests and dungeons in particular are good for filling up the reputation points that you need for a certain level of regional progress. The practical thing is that they are shown to you on the map as soon as you explore the area – so you don’t even have to look for them.

Dungeons

Dungeons have been criticized since their release; many players found them boring and tended to avoid them. The Nightmare variant was visited to farm Glyph XP. With Season 6 the function has changed and you now collect important mats in nightmare dungeons. But the new dungeons also seem to be an improvement.

Players are now praising the feature and are surprised at how good the dungeons in Nahantu have become. A player wanted to go through it for his region progression, but then accidentally got hooked. You can read more about it here: Players say: Diablo 4 is much better with Vessel of Hatred, especially a feature that has been annoying since release
