of Buffalo Henri Jokiharju scored a goal as the Sabers defeated the reigning champion Florida Panthers 5–2 in the NHL. Jokiharju’s sharp shot of his pack pair by Rasmus Dahlin pass gave Buffalo a 3–1 lead in the second period. The goal was Jokiharju’s first of the season.
For Buffalo, the win was the first of the season in the fourth game. Florida has won just one of their three games. Florida Captain Alexander Barkov hurt his leg this week against Ottawa when he slid to the sideline.
The head coach by Paul Maurice according to Barkov will be sidelined for 2–3 weeks. Maurice believes that Barkov will be involved in the NHL Global Series matches to be played in Tampere at the beginning of November.

The new NHL club Utah Hockey Club has won all three of its games. Utah defeated the NY Rangers after overtime 6–5. of Utah Matias Maccelli got one assist, so did the Rangers Kaapo Kako.
