Unclear result after the end
But then it got harder. In June, she lost to the Czech Ester Konecna, and tonight it was a draw in Gothenburg against the 30-year-old British Jordan Barker-Porter.
In the match, which was decided at a hotel in Gothenburg, the British took command at the beginning.
But Laurén rose, and after the six two-minute rounds it was not clear who won.
Disagreeing judges
And the judges didn’t think so either. One had Laurén as the narrow winner, 58–56, while another had the Briton as the winner by the same numbers – and the last had a tie: 57–57.
Thus the match ended in a draw.
Notable from the rest of the gala is that Linn Sandström won the final match against Carla Camila Campos, and thus took over the WBA international champion belt in super flyweight.
