Zelenskyi: Ukraine has held its front line in Kursk | News in brief

According to President Zelensky, the situation of the Ukrainian forces in the eastern Donetsk region and in the southern Zaporizhia region is “very difficult”.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi said in his Saturday evening speech that Ukrainian forces maintained their position in Kursk.

– As for the Kursk operation, Russia has tried to push us back, but we have held our front line, he said.

Ukraine has said its attack on Kursk is aimed at creating a buffer zone in the region to stop shelling of border areas.

Zelenskyi also said in his video speech that the situation of the Ukrainian forces in the eastern Donetsk region and the southern Zaporizhzhia region is “very difficult”.
