In Diablo 4 there are particularly rare, unique items – the Mythic Uniques. This also includes the Heir of Perdition head protection. We’ll show you how to get the helmet and what makes it special.
What kind of item is this? Heir of Doom is a mythical headgear. This means that it is one of the rarest items in Diablo 4. The Mythic Unique is one of the Uniques that were added in Season 6 of Diablo 4. All classes can equip the head protection.
What can the item do? The head protection has interesting effects because it gives you a bonus to your damage against angels and demons. Basically it means: You do more damage against a large number of monsters that you encounter in Sanctuary, such as in Hellflood.
However, there are no angels in Diablo 4. In Diablo 3 they were added with the Reaper of Souls expansion. What exactly this entails is still unclear.
In addition, it increases your general damage and gives you bonuses to the following stats:
To see which item is better, you should activate two settings in Diablo 4:
Farm Heir of Doom specifically
Where can I find the legacy of damnation? To get the Mythic Unique dropped, you can try your luck on the “tortured” bosses. Since Season 6, you can find the bosses on the four new torment levels and can summon them with the usual mats. You no longer need Stygian stones for this.
From Torment Level 1, all bosses have a chance to drop Mythics when you defeat them and are therefore suitable for specifically farming Uniques and Mythic Uniques. It is also possible to get Mythics as a loot drop outside of the bosses – but this is very rarely the case.
You can also craft the Mythic Unique Legacy of Doom yourself from your trusted jeweler in Diablo 4. However, for this you need two “Magnificent Sparks”, runes and 5,000 gold. At the blacksmith you can craft a random Mythic Unique from two sparks. You can find out where you get the sparks from and what you can make with them here: Diablo 4: Making Magnificent Sparks – This is how you craft Mythic Uniques with them
