The revelation that a leader of a criminal motorcycle gang was a guest at SD leader Jimmie Åkesson’s wedding has led to strong reactions, and Åkesson himself has called it a failure.

But the information has not affected the cooperation between SD and the government parties, according to Gustav Gellerbrant, SD’s head of the coordination office, where all important issues in the Tidö Agreement are negotiated.

    – It happens that we in the Coordination have reason to discuss things that concern our parties. This time I have not received any questions at all from the other parties. So I regard this as a small matter in the grand scheme of things, he says in Ekot’s Saturday interview.

He does not believe that the disclosure will make it difficult for SD’s plans to sit in a government after the next election. He also does not believe that it affects trust in SD in legal policy, for example when it comes to fighting gang crime.
