    Sold throughout France, many cheeses made at the Sainte-Godeleine cheese factory located on the Côte d’Opale in Wierre-Effroy (Pas-de-Calais) have been recalled. They are suspected of being contaminated with Listeria.

    The presence of Listeria monocytogenes in this cheese can lead to serious infections, especially in vulnerable people (pregnant women, elderly or immunocompromised people). Listeriosis can cause symptoms such as fever, headache and body aches, and in some cases, neurological complications or risks to the fetus.
