28-year-old Kaapo Kähkönen is already playing his seventh season in North America.
Finnish goalkeeper Kaapo Kähkönen will move to the NHL hockey club Colorado Avalanche. The club picked Kähkönen off the transfer list.
The 28-year-old Kähkönen is already playing in North America for his seventh season. He has played a total of 139 NHL games with a save percentage of 89.9.
Colorado’s goaltending situation is interesting. The number one goalkeeper Aleksandar Georgiev last season was unconvincing, in addition to which he struggled in the season opener.
Georgiev was substituted off his goal after conceding five goals in two sets. His situation was slipping Justus Annunenwho has only played less than twenty games in the NHL.
Colorado is also represented by Finnish stars Mikko Rantanen and Artturi Lehkonen. Rantanen made a hat trick in the opening game of the season.
