This weekend, no less than 10 degrees of difference should be observed between certain departments.
With Storm Kirk, the week was very disrupted with heavy rainy episodes. Wind gusts were also significant. Very gloomy weather which, fortunately, calms down a little this weekend. Once again, the days of Saturday and Sunday will not be equal, the good weather is still struggling to settle in.
This Friday, the sun will still return in the afternoon to the north of the Seine, in Brittany and in the south-eastern quarter. In central regions, a few showers will still be possible and it will especially be very cloudy. The Mediterranean rim will, for its part, exceed 20 degrees.
According to The Weather ChannelSaturday, clouds will be predominant, with even a few more showers. An anticyclone from Germany will, however, guarantee good weather in the North, where, despite the morning mist, it will be quite sunny. The weather in the rest of the country will be very variable. Showers from the west will progress in the afternoon towards Normandy and the central regions. Temperatures will be more seasonal, with between 5 and 14 degrees in the morning and 12 to 23 in the afternoon.
On Sunday, the disturbance from the day before will clear away, bringing back the sun and pleasant temperatures. A nice improvement is emerging with even almost 25 degrees in the southwest and particularly in Aquitaine. In the rest of the territory, it will be necessary to count between 6 and 17 in the morning and more than 14 in the afternoon. A difference of ten degrees will be noticeable between the north and the southeast. For example, it will be 15 degrees in Paris compared to 25 degrees in Biarritz or 14 degrees in Reims compared to 24 degrees in Toulouse, according to Météo-France forecasts for Sunday afternoon.
According to the site’s trends, this mildness could continue next week with “temperatures above seasonal norms”. However, mid-October promises to be “rather humid across the country and particularly in the south-east”. Likewise for The Weather Channel which, in its forecasts for the week of October 14 to 20, estimates that it “will be very mild everywhere, particularly at the foot of the Pyrenees”, even if “the country should remain under the influence of the ocean and depression”.
