The Best Pastry Chef: not embarrassed, Lyana, Laetitia Milot’s daughter, crashed into the filming

The Best Pastry Chef not embarrassed Lyana Laetitia Milots daughter

Laëtitia Milot is the new face of Best Pastry Chef, which debuts this Saturday evening on M6…

The Best Pastry Chef is back, this Thursday, October 10, 2024, for a new season on M6, with a new casting of candidates, several new features in the tests, but also a brand new host. Laëtitia Milot has indeed replaced Marie Portolano, who left M6 for other projects this season. A risky turn for the actress, best known for her appearance in TF1 and public service soap operas and series in recent years.

Laëtitia Milot knows that Best Pastry Chef is a new challenge for her and did not hesitate to express her apprehension in the media. At 44 years old, she nevertheless has enough “bottle” to bring her own ingredients to the program, starting with humorous pastilles which will sprinkle the culinary competition and undoubtedly add a little sweet touch (the important thing being not to abuse it). Even Mercotte and sometimes Cyril Lignac, who will accompany him this season, have agreed to play in these sketches, the content of which we do not yet fully know.

Laëtitia Milot therefore had plenty to do. Between fiction, the fight against endometriosis, for which she took on the role of spokesperson, and Best Pastry Chef, she has less and less free time and struggles to devote any to her family, like herself. he told journalists at a press conference. Despite the illness from which she suffers, the actress is the mother of Lyana, aged 6. And there is no question for her of separating for too long from this “miracle baby” as she calls him, since she did not think she would be able to procreate precisely because of endometriosis.

The Best Pastry Chef therefore regularly received visits from the little girl, whom her mother chose to take with her to the set. “If at some point I don’t bring my daughter with me, it’s not possible. And even when I went to Reunion for four months (for the filming of the series Meetingsreleased in 2020 – Editor’s note), I put her in another school for these four months,” Laëtitia Milot told Télé Loisirs.

“I want her to have an education from both parents. If I listen to my profession, I’m rarely at home. I’m coming off an 80-date tour (for her play “A Farewell Dinner” – Editor’s note ), it wasn’t easy because I left every weekend, sometimes 4-5 days a week”, she adds, while looking forward to “always finding solutions”. “There is grandma who helps us a lot,” admitted the actress-host, who nevertheless wants to stay behind her offspring as much as possible.

Lyana has therefore made her merry way in Le Meilleur Pâtissier. To the point of creating links with the candidates, the presenters, and even the latter’s children, who also came to put their finger in the pan of chocolate. “She was delighted, she had a lot of fun with Cyril’s son. She also became attached to certain candidates and she can’t wait to see the show,” Laëtitia Milot told Télé Star this week. To the point of seeing a little blond head appear on the screen from time to time?
