The Twitch streamer Asmongold likes to criticize things in his streams that he doesn’t like. In a recent clip he reacts to a gacha game full of revealing men. He criticizes the game for this, but elsewhere praises a new update to Stellar Blade that improves the protagonist’s appearance.
What is it about? In a current YouTube clip from October 9th, 2024 with the title Woman have some explanation to do… he reacts to the gacha game Love and Deepspace, which is available on mobile platforms.
He became aware of it through the subreddit r/gachagaming, which covers all things gacha gaming. The users publish the income from these games in a ranking. In July, Love and Deepspace was at number 2 and caught Asmonsgold’s attention.
He then responded to a trailer of the game.

How does Asmongold react? Asmongold reacts to the trailer, which shows several revealing men seemingly flirting with the player character. There is also physical contact. He watches the trailer almost speechless and comments in his clip: Oh my god, the game looks like softcore porn.
He mentions several times that the game was the second highest-grossing game in the Gacha rankings that month (July 2024). His chat also mentions that you can only play a female character.
The comments under the clip are pretty misogynistic. The sexualization of men is used here in a toxic way to downplay criticism of the sexualization of women in video games.
Stellar Blade is also mentioned a lot in the comments. Recently Asmongold reacted to the new update of Stellar Blade. In response, he described the update as high quality content. The update made the physics of the protagonist’s breasts and clothing more realistic.
But things seem to be going well for Love and Deepspace. The game even reached the top spot in revenue on the Gacha Games subreddit in September. Asmongold regularly makes controversial statements.
