The royal couple met the relatives of those who died in the knife attack and the police, paramedics and rescue personnel who were at work during the attack.

Prince of Wales William and the princess Catherine represented on Thursday together for the first time after the end of Catherine’s cancer treatments, said the court.

The royal couple appeared together in Southport, northwest England, where they met, among other things, the families of children killed in a knife attack this summer.

William and Kate also met the police, paramedics and emergency personnel who were on duty during the attack.

– You are all heroes. Please take care of yourself, give yourself time and don’t rush back to work, William said.

Three children died in a knife attack in Southport in July. The trial of the suspected attacker, who was 17 at the time of the bloodshed, will continue later this month.
