What kind of item is this? The unique “Staff of Kepeleke” is one of the uniques of the Spiritborn. The Spiritborn was added to Diablo 4 with the Vessel of Hatred expansion. What can the staff of Kepeleke do? The Staff of Kepeleke has the effect of turning all of your core skills into basic skills and changing their mechanics:

  • Core skills can then be cast for free, but cause less damage, depending on the life force cost
  • At maximum health, core skills consume all health and deal full damage
  • They are guaranteed to hit critically, with the largest size that the skills can hit
  • For each life force point spent this way, they deal increased critical hit damage
  • On top of that, the staff increases your critical hit damage, your maximum resource, the chance that core skills hit twice and gives you ranks in speed.

    The staff is the best choice for various strong Spiritborn builds, such as the “Touch of Death” build, which is based on the core skill of the same name. The Spiritborn’s Spike Volley build also uses the Staff of Kepeleke. The build is a strong endgame choice and uses Spike Volley as a core skill. This allows you to shoot your opponents with feathers that act like a shotgun at short distances.
