The football pro Emil Forsberg and Shanga Forsberg were a couple for 19 years, but chose in March 2024 to go their separate ways.
The divorce was turbulent and has been widely discussed, not least in social media.
Shanga Forsberg accused Emil Forsberg of ghosting the family
Shanga Forsberg accused her ex-husband Emil Forsberg of “ghosting” her and the family and moving on with another girl, which News24 wrote more about.
In a post on Instagram, she is said to have written, among other things:
“You also have future plans. We didn’t know about them either. If the reporters knew that you talk more to them than to your family in recent months”.
However, Emil Forsberg denied the ex-wife’s claim that he ghosted his own family and made a statement in Aftonbladet.
– It is not true at all that I have ghosted my family. Not at all. It’s really sad that it came out like that. I have been in contact with the children and the family all the time since I came here, he told The evening paper.
