A 55-year-old man has died in connection with clearing in the forest in Ucklum outside Stenungsund.

The police: No suspicion of crime
— There are no suspicions of crime on the part of the police. There will be a death investigation, says Jens Anderssonpress spokesperson at the police.
The man was pinned under a tree and the emergency services, ambulance and police were called to the scene at around 1.30pm on Wednesday afternoon.

Worked on site – but no employment circumstances
The man died at the scene.
– He has been there and worked. But as I understand it, there are no circumstances of employment that would make it a workplace accident, says Jens Andersson.
Next of kin have been notified.
